This celebration of Beach Boys guiding light Brian Wilson, recorded in March 2001 at New York's Radio City Music Hall, may be the best tribute concert ever. Wilson himself appears toward the end of the 90-minute show; he's game, but after decades of mental problems, he's not what he once was. It's his admirers who take the event to another level. Backed by the remarkable Wondermints, a diverse lineup (Ricky Martin, the Go-Go's, Billy Joel, Aimee Mann and Michael Penn, Wilson Phillips--with Brian's two daughters--and others) perform both obvious ("California Girls") and more obscure ("I Just Wasn't Made for These Times") Wilson material. And then there are Elton John ("God Only Knows"), Vince Gill ("The Warmth of the Sun"), Paul Simon ("Surfer Girl"), Heart's Wilson sisters ("Good Vibrations"), and Carly Simon, David Crosby, and songwriter Jimmy Webb ("In My Room"), who turn in performances that are, quite simply, among the greatest of their careers. Transcendent.

Moonwalker, also known as Michael Jackson: Moonwalker, is an American film released in 1988 by singer Michael Jackson.

Rather than featuring one continuous narrative, the film is a collection of short films about Jackson, several of which are long-form music videos from Jackson's Bad album. The film is named after the dance technique known as the moonwalk, which was one of his trademark moves. The name of the dance move was dubbed by the media, not by Jackson himself; however, he did choose the title of the film himself. The film is rated PG outside of the United States.

The release of Moonwalker was originally scheduled to coincide with Jackson's 1987 album, Bad. During the theatrical release of Moonwalker, Jackson was also embarking on the Bad World Tour, his first tour as a solo performer. The film was released theatrically in Europe and South America, but Warner Brothers canceled plans for a Christmas 1988 theatrical release in the U.S. Moonwalker was released on home video in the United States and Canada on January 10, 1989, just as the Bad World Tour finished. (His tour was supposed to finish sooner, but had been postponed due to some vocal strain, so it went on until the last week of January 1989.) The video had sold more than 800,000 copies in the U.S by April 17, 1989.

Certifiable: Live in Buenos Aires is a live album by The Police. It was recorded in December, 2007 and was released in November, 2008. The album was released in the US exclusively through Best Buy. In the rest of the world, the album and DVD was released via all retail outlets on November 10. The album has a number of releases including a four disc version containing two CDs and two DVDs.

The two CDs contain the live album from River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The first DVD contains the 109-minute wide-screen concert presented in Dolby Surround and Stereo. The concert film was directed and produced by the award-winning team of Jim Gable and Ann Kim, the principles of Graying & Balding, Inc..

The second DVD contains the 50-minute bonus feature, "Better Than Therapy," directed by Jordan Copeland detailing The Police's historic reunion with exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews from the band and road crew, plus two photo galleries of The Police on tour: one shot by guitarist and photographer Andy Summers, and one by photographer Danny Clinch. Snakes & Arrows is the 18th full-length studio album by the Canadian rock band Rush. Co-produced by Nick Raskulinecz, it is Rush's first studio outing since 2004's Feedback. The album was recorded in five weeks between November and December 2006 at Allaire Studios in New York’s Catskill Mountains and mixed and mastered at Ocean Way Studios in Los Angeles, California.

Gorgeous to listen to and gorgeous to look at, Celtic Woman is perfect PBS fare, sort of a Riverdance without the dancing. Drawing on the same New Age-y sound and propulsive energy as that show's solo-voice and choral numbers, the live concert features four attractive young women in strapless evening gowns with soaring voices backed by an orchestra, an Anuna-like chorus, and a large percussion section. The more traditional fare includes Meav Ni Mhaolchatha's "Danny Boy" and "She Moved Through the Fair," and Chloe Agnew's "Ave Maria" (the Bach-Gounod version). Movie and TV selections range from Agnew's "Walking in the Air" (The Snowman) and "Someday" (Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame) to Lisa Kelly's "May It Be" (the Enya song from The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the King) and Orla Fallon's voice and harp rendition of "Harry's Game." A fifth woman, Mairead Nesbitt, adds some variety by fiddling "The Butterfly" and "Ashokan Farewell" (best known as the theme from Ken Burns's The Civil War). Occasionally the singers join together, as in Enya's "Orinoco Flow," an a cappella rendition of West Side Story's "Somewhere," music director David Downes's composition "One World," and a stately version of "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring." Celtic Woman was created by Downes (like many of the other performers, a Riverdance veteran) along with Sharon Browne and Dave Kavanagh of the Celtic Collections record label.
